Caring for your Luv and Lotus candle ensures the most beautiful experience and longest burn time
🕯️ Every Luv and Lotus candle is crafted to bring beauty and intention into your space. To enjoy it safely and prolong its elegance, please follow these simple guidelines.
Safe Burning Practices
- Always keep your candle within sight on a stable, flat surface.
- Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials to protect your loved ones.
- Limit each burn to no more than four hours to enjoy safely.
- Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface to preserve your furniture.
Wick Care & Maintenance
🔧 Trim the wick to ¼” before lighting and remove any loose pieces to ensure a clean even burn and to keep your candle looking pretty!
Proper wick trimming prevents soot, ensures a steady flame, and prolongs the life of your candle. It’s the most important step for optimal performance.

About Our Coconut-Apricot Wax
Our coconut-apricot wax blend offers a longer softening range than pure soy, meaning melt pools do not need to reach the vessel’s edges to fully consume the wax.
This luxury blend is known for its smooth finish, excellent fragrance throw, and cleaner burn compared to traditional soy or paraffin. Tunneling is generally not an issue with our wax blend!
When to Stop
🛑 Discontinue using when there is ¼” of wax remaining to protect the vessel and maintain safety.
This protects your beautiful glass vessel and ensures safe burning throughout the candle’s life.
After Your Candle
Once your candle is finished, clean out the jar with warm soapy water. Our jars are premium quality blown glass and make lovely keepsakes. They can be cleaned and repurposed for non-food uses.
While our jars are crafted with elegance, they are not intended for reuse in candle making.
